Due to a late cancellation we have this charming countryside retreat for a family of 4 in the heart of the lively village of Mitcheldean, on the edge of the magnificent Royal Forest of Dean. Ostlers is a delightful detached cottage with a bright, airy open-plan living space and an enclosed courtyard garden — perfect for lazy afternoons in the sunshine with the dog. The Forest of Dean offers miles of walking, cycling and cycling trails, and the area is bursting with things to do — from the majestic ruins of Goodrich Castle and the ancient King Arthur's Cave to canoeing on the River Wye, the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail and the aMazing Hedge Puzzle at Symonds Yat. The historic city of Gloucester, with its spectacular Norman Cathedral, is just 13 miles away.

Bayview Bungalow sits on a quiet site just half a mile from the glorious Oxwich Bay Beach, with the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty right on the doorstep. Unwind on the side patio while the kids and furry friends play on the enclosed shared lawn, or head into the village to explore Oxwich Castle. Reynoldston, with its shop, post office and the renowned King Arthur Hotel pub, is just a few miles away, as are the beaches and walks of Port Eynon and Rhossili.
