With the warmer weather heading our way ☀️we’re taking extra steps to ensure all our animals, from the dogs 🐶, to the horses 🐴 and donkeys🫏 stay cool, safe, and comfortable.

Here are a few ways we’re managing the heat, and some tips if you’re looking after your own furry friends:

Hydration is key: Ensure constant access to fresh, clean water. Multiple bowls in different spots and you can even drop a few treats in there as we’ve done in the video.

Shade and Ventilation: Whether it’s natural shade from trees or your open shelters, make sure all animals have a place to escape direct sunlight. Keep buildings well-ventilated, and don’t hesitate to use fans to help air circulate.

Schedule smart: Shift exercise to the very early morning or late evening when the temperature is cooler.
