Could this change the way we build?
It can be used on timber-frame builds as well as decorative brick walls, and it’s a fantastic piece of engineering. The finished result looks incredible.
I’m always keen to keep up with new building methods because I believe the industry has to keep evolving. Whether bricklayers fully embrace systems like this or not is another question—but innovation is happening either way.

Right then… what are you all using to cut your Tapco slates these days?
I’ve not had to cut this many in years, and after doing them all with a Stanley knife, I’ve ended up with a lovely blister. 🙈😅
There has to be a better way what are you lot using?
Another HUP goes up on our latest project. 💪
This video shows the speed and efficiency of the Modbuild team, taking all the stress out of the build process.
This project will be finished with a brick slip system, and it’s going to look amazing. The roof and bi-fold doors are the next stage, and it’s really starting to take shape.
Not bad for just a few days’ work… we’ve even converted our first bricklayer! 😂🏗️
