Congratulations to Mr + Mrs 'Pete + Laura' who celebrated their wedding at Rêve Retreat, Pageas, France yesterday in stunning surroundings with their closest friends and family.

My first destination wedding was an absolute dream come true. In fact it was better in reality than I could have hoped. You know why? The people. People make a wedding. Period.

I always knew my first French wedding would be a memorable one but I never dreamed I would feel so included and welcomed into such a tight knit group of friends and family. I've had the best time, not only capturing the event but chatting with people and having a bloody good laugh too 😄♥️

When I arrive at your venue I like to find a suitable spot to photograph the items that are important to you. If I can do this by adding a subtle nod to the date/time/vibe or venue, I will.

These details were captured in one of my favourite prep rooms, the attic room at Oddfellows Chester Despite it's modest size, it has the best pockets of light and beautiful rustic wooden beams perfect for hanging a wedding dress. I wasn't sure what I was looking for but when I opened a cupboard door and found these dreamy olive green velvet shelves, I knew I had to display Laura's details here.
