We are an established construction company who carry out pub refurbishment works and are seeking a well-organised, self-motivated Estimator/QS to join our Chester team. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include all pre and post-contract activities, including management of suppliers and sub-contractors. Our company is looking for the immediate appointment of a confident and ambitious character to join us. Experience of pricing work in the licensed trade industry would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

· Dealing with tender enquiries and collating weekly reports to senior staff
· Pricing all tenders through to completion of projects and final accounts
· Advising on contract duration and managing resources
· Assisting contracts staff with buying and supplier / sub-contractor management
· Producing Health & Safety and pre-start documentation for each project
· Calculating profitability levels of secured contracts
· Attending meetings and representing the company

The ideal candidate will have good IT and computer software skills and assist in management of contract programming. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects would be a pre-requisite, as would be the ability to identify opportunities to add value to the project process.
