Illumex Signs - Chester

With design work by Ambitious Studio we produced a host of signs and graphics ahead of the launch of Chester’s very newest carpark topping hideout for all things street food, drinks and games 🏓

Perspex light cubes to showcase the resident kitchens of Death By Tacos, Chester Zoo’s House of Sumatra, Enzo's Pizza, The Fat Greek Co. alongside the Liquor and Co. cocktail bar.

Using our own bracket system these projecting light boxes have zero visible fixings and 360 degree even illumination 💡

Corn boards and table tennis tops faced with laminated latex prints to keep the brand’s signature colours looking bright whatever the weather.

Plus hanging lightbox for the host’s box, entrance and way finding signage throughout, along with fascia boards, window manifestations and vinyl graphics.

There’s a rumour we’ll be sinking a few pints there tonight 🍻

Bespoke signage manufacturing in the heart of Chester, here at Illumex.

Somehow we’ve been in our new unit for a year 😳

We’ve painted the place head to toe, installed electrics, LED lighting, new signage of course (took a while mind 👀), investment in new machinery, tools, equipment, security, transport, forklift and stock.

Alongside this we’ve been working to improve our customer experience generally, with an improved call handling service, new stand alone website for our plastics products, shorter lead times and improved manufacturing methods across many of our products, with further investments in the pipeline.

The biggest pleasure has been establishing and growing a network of new trade customers in the region while ensuring our long standing relationships with those in the Wigan area and general North West remained strong.

It’s not been a breeze and we won’t be doing it again 👀 but from its spare bedroom beginnings just seven years ago it’s great to see where Illumex stands today!

Fun fact - our very first customer from those spare bedroom days is still one of our most regular, which tells the tale in itself as to what we’re about 🤝
