This week we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming two fantastic work experience students from Bishop’s High School and Caldy Grange Grammar School… and what a week it’s been! 👏⚽

From setting up sessions and supporting our coaches to getting involved with the players and seeing what goes on behind the scenes at SR Football Development, both lads have thrown themselves into every opportunity with enthusiasm, professionalism and a brilliant attitude.

The best part? Hearing them both say they have absolutely loved their time with us. 🔥⚽️

It’s fantastic to know they’ve enjoyed the experience and hopefully it’s given them a real insight into what it’s like to work in football coaching and inspire the next generation.

A huge well done to you both. You’ve been a credit to yourselves, your schools and your families, and we’re sure you’ll go on to achieve great things.

⚽️❤️WHAT A DAY TODAY IS… ❤️⚽️

Today is one of those days that brings so many emotions.

For us personally, today is a huge milestone as our daughter Ava finishes Year 2. It honestly feels like only two minutes ago we were taking those first-day school photos, and now she’s getting ready to start the juniors in September. Time really does fly. 💙

As SR Football Development, today also makes us incredibly proud.

Over the years we’ve had the privilege of coaching so many amazing children. We’ve watched players arrive in Reception full of nerves and excitement, grow in confidence, develop their football and make lifelong friendships. Today, many of those same children are leaving Year 6 and preparing for the next chapter as they head off to high school.

To every single one of you… congratulations! 👏⚽️

We’ve loved being a small part of your journey, and we know you’re going to embrace every opportunity, work hard and absolutely smash high school. Never stop believing in yourselves.

Today is also a big day for so many families. Whether your child is finishing nursery, starting Reception, leaving primary school or even moving on from high school, these milestones are special. There will be excitement, nerves, proud moments and maybe even a few tears along the way.

To all the parents, thank you for everything you do to support your children every single day. These moments remind us just how quickly they grow.

Enjoy today, celebrate every achievement and make plenty of memories. ❤️

As a football community, we’re absolutely gutted. 💔

Every player, coach and supporter dreams of lifting the World Cup, and when that dream comes to an end, it hurts. But that’s football.

Football teaches us lessons that go far beyond the pitch. It teaches resilience. It teaches determination. It teaches you that no matter how hard you work, sometimes things don’t go your way.

That doesn’t mean you’ve failed.

This England team gave everything. They represented the badge with pride, fought for every ball, inspired millions and showed what it means to never stop believing. They left everything on the pitch, and that’s all anyone can ever ask.

To every player in that dressing room… thank you.

Thank you for showing the next generation that wearing the Three Lions is an honour.
