We're almost there! 🏡 Our latest project involved a complete transformation. Our client's home was on the dark side, and they wanted to create a brighter, more open downstairs without turning it into one giant room. Here's what we did:

✨ Installed stunning oak-framed glass double doors between the living room and kitchen/dining area, complete with a supporting RSJ.
🪚 Removed the kitchen by relocating it to another one of our client's tenanted properties, leaving a spacious and airy feel.
🪟 Replaced the original patio doors with a wide window. Where the kitchen window used to be, we installed another RSJ and bifold doors.
🔌 Upgraded the gas, water, and electrical systems to meet the requirements of the new space.
🚪 Added a space-saving pocket door and created a niche for the fridge freezer, with yet another supporting RSJ.
🏠 Freshly plastered throughout and switched out all internal doors with elegant oak ones.
💡 The result? A Scandinavian-inspired, well-lit space that's simply inviting.

The team has been working really hard on this job. It is proving a tough one! These Yorkshire houses were very well built, and the newest owner wants bifold doors installing, but the York Stone is not giving up easily. More progress pictures tomorrow.
