Over the past two weeks, we've been exploring neurodiversity, challenging misconceptions, highlighting strengths, and looking at how greater understanding can help create more inclusive workplaces, learning environments, and communities.
One thing has become clear:
Neurodiversity is not about labels.
It's about people.
It's about recognising that different individuals may think, learn, communicate, and process information in different ways — and understanding how small changes in awareness can have a significant impact.
If you'd like to develop your understanding further, we'd love to welcome you to our upcoming CPD session:
Understanding Neurodiversity: Awareness, Impact & Support (NDD1)
Together we'll explore:
✔ Neurodevelopmental differences and neurodiversity
✔ Common signs and indicators
✔ Strengths as well as challenges
✔ Communication and support considerations
✔ Practical approaches for workplaces, education settings, and communities
The next session is on june 15, from 19:00 - 21:00 BST, and places are available.
You can find full details and register via our LinkedIn Event Page.
Whether you're an employer, manager, educator, support worker, volunteer, parent, or simply interested in learning more, we'd be delighted to have you join us.
And oh, did we mention this course is CPD Accredited?

Over the past few posts, we’ve been exploring how neurodiversity shapes the way people think, learn, communicate, and experience the world.
We’ve also reflected on something important:
💥 different ways of thinking are not weaknesses to “fix” — they are often the very things that bring creativity, innovation, problem-solving, and fresh perspectives into our workplaces and communities.
But awareness is only the starting point.
Real inclusion comes from understanding:
💫 how neurodiversity may present differently in different people
💫 how environments can either support or overwhelm
💫 how communication and processing differences affect everyday experiences
💫 and how small practical changes can make a meaningful difference
That’s exactly what we’ll be exploring in our upcoming CPD session:
🧠 Understanding Neurodiversity: Awareness, Impact & Support (NDD1)
This session is designed to build practical, real-world understanding around neurodiversity, including areas such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and other cognitive differences.
One thing that often comes up during Disability Awareness training is this:
Many people already care deeply about inclusion and supporting others well.
What they often lack is confidence in real-world situations, wondering how to actually apply their knowledge:
• knowing the right language to use
• understanding practical barriers
• understanding how everyday experiences may differ for disabled individuals
That’s exactly why sessions like our CPD Accredited Understanding Disability: From Awareness to Action are so valuable.
The goal isn’t perfection — it’s greater awareness, confidence and practical understanding that people can take into everyday workplaces, education settings and community environments.
Our next 2-hour CPD session takes place on 5 June.
