“A Complete Transformation!” We were looking to replace our old kitchen and create an open-plan cooking, dining, and living space. Having done some in-depth research online and having looked at designs on Instagram, the kitchens from Dan Ashcroft Design stood out head and shoulders above the rest. It was a healthy two-way exchange of ideas, with both parties more than happy to embrace each other’s thoughts.
We wanted an extension where the patio was previously, an island kitchen, plenty of storage, a secret pantry, and a single-set bi-fold doors. So, it required a masterclass in project management, and with Dan, we got it! The tradesmen, including the builders, electrician, plasterer, joiner and plumber, showed great craftsmanship. They were amiable, efficient, tidy, and polite. What’s more - they were exceptionally talented at what they did! The new kitchen is completely unrecognisable from beforehand. The project has brought the garden in and made the whole place much lighter and more inviting. All our expectations have been exceeded. A complete transformation. “Premium products and exquisite design” To suit our changing needs with a young family, we had planned a significant building project to transform the downstairs space of our property. The existing traditional smaller rooms would become a modern open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space, including new bi-fold doors to the patio and gardens. After visiting a number of local suppliers, we found Dan to be the standout professional. His vision was unrivalled, his ideas were imaginative, and his approach was personable. Dan worked collaboratively with our interior designer to ensure the structural elements met the target designs of the rooms. The fitting team was hardworking, friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Liam, in particular, was meticulous and precise, and provided a polished finish to all his work. “A Positive Experience”
“Having read many positive reviews about Dan Ashcroft Design in Reflections magazine, we decided to follow this up by contacting Dan.
He looked at the potential space available and creatively combined functionality, space maximisation, and aesthetics in his designs.
Dan filled us with confidence and what swung it for us was his ability to project manage the entire installation – from initial designs to final fitting.
The project was by no means easy. It involved taking walls out, installing lintels and RSJs, and undertaking a complete overhaul of the space. Dan and his highly professional team of tradesmen had to undertake a significant amount of building work, including plastering and fitting LVT flooring throughout.
Liam and the rest of the fitting team were incredible. They showed meticulous attention to detail, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The teamwork was a joy to behold. They all got on well and worked seamlessly together – a friendly and efficient group of talented craftsmen. They were also thoughtful and kind to our young family, being nice to our two young children, who are 6 and 4.
We were also delighted with how Dan project managed the building works and installation.
We also have a utility-storage, coat and shoe storage room, which is so useful, as well as a downstairs cloakroom and loo.
 The vision shown by Dan has completely transformed our daily living. The kids love the new space.
 All the tradesmen went ‘over and beyond’ to accommodate our wishes and were only too happy to do those extra little jobs we asked for.
