This year is a special one for the business as we celebrate 30 years within the industry and as part of this BDG Design would like to introduce our new company logo, something which has a nod to the past but also evolves with the modern times.

Moving forward we also have two new associate directors Russell G**k & Alex Wells alongside director Gareth Bayliss and the wider team working on some exciting projects.

We’re all looking forward to seeing how BDG evolves over the next 30 years!

During recent CPD seminars within the office, we have learned that building design and orientation can have a significant impact on the health of people who use them. Research shows that factors like natural ventilation, sunlight exposure, and outdoor access are important for promoting health and well-being.

Good ventilation and air quality are crucial for respiratory health, while access to natural light can promote better sleep patterns. Buildings near green spaces can provide opportunities for exercise and fresh air, which are important for physical and mental health. Access to essential amenities like healthcare services and grocery stores can reduce the need for public transportation, improving overall health outcomes.

Here at BDG Design, we attend seminars and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and development into topics such as these. Networking with other companies to expand our knowledge and skills.
