🚨 Missing Cat – Please Help 🚨

We are urgently trying to locate a missing cat in the Colchester, Maldon Road area.

🐾 Description:

* White and black coat
* Noticeable abscess on its face

If you have seen a cat matching this description, or have any information at all, please get in touch with Medivet as soon as possible. The cat may be in need of urgent veterinary care.

Please also check sheds, garages, and quiet hiding spots nearby — scared or injured cats often seek shelter.

It has recently come to our attention that, last minute, we have had a road closure to the entrance of our practice on Maldon Road. Where you would usually exit the car park, that is now going to be an entry and exit point. Please be careful and slow when approaching and leaving as it is a very low visibility.

We are trying our best to remedy this to make sure we are able to get access from Maldon Road again.

🐶Belle here to remind you to keep an eye on your furry friends around any foods that may be hazardous to their stomachs.
Belle was brought in after having eaten a malt loaf that contained raisins which can cause acute kidney failure if gone untreated. Luckily she was able to be induced to vomit it all back up before anything was fully digested.

🍇After a dog has eaten raisins or grapes, symptoms start within hours and cause vomiting, lethargy, abdominal pain and loss of appetite.
Other foods that are toxic include:
• onions 🧅
• chocolate 🍫
• garlic 🧄
• avocados 🥑
• nuts (in particular macadamia nuts)

Happy Friday! Nellie joined our nurse today for her 2nd vaccine.
Nellie would like to shout out that our nurses also express a**l glands, clip nails, offer dental checks, weight checks and flea checks among others. We aim for them to be as fearfree as possible for your pet, as you can see Nellie agrees.🐶
