We are delighted to announce Isaac Sestak as the new 1st XV Captain.

A respected leader on and off the field, Isaac’s commitment, passion for the club, and dedication made him the perfect choice to lead the squad into the new season 🏝️

Mersea Island RFC can announce that Ollie White will be stepping down as 1st XV Captain following the 2025/26 season.

After two fantastic seasons leading the side, Ollie has decided to step aside as he and his partner Rosie prepare to welcome their first child.

We’d like to thank Ollie for his outstanding leadership and commitment over the past two years, and wish him and Rosie all the very best.

We’re excited to confirm that our 1XV will be competing in Counties 2 Essex for the 2026/2027 campaign 🏆

The squad can’t wait to reignite some old rivalries, take on new opposition, and enjoy a season with a lot less time spent on the road ⚪️🔵
