2024 Round up!

We've found 2024 to be one of our most rewarding years. Here are a few key highlights...

We celebrated our 1 year Anniversary since we moved into The Minories and opening our co-working space.

We have contributed to shaping local creative development, helping events evolve into a array of offerings including talks, social gatherings, advice, and more, with Ben inputting as part of the Creative Colchester Partnership board.

In March we completed an Innovate UK funded project to create our own evaluation product and are developing this further with specialists.

In April Artem Pogorielov (additional developer) and Sofia Rojas Alfaro (project manager) joined our team!

We have attended events such as a Jazz event in The Minories Garden hosted by Common Ground, a captivating theatre performance of Atom and Luna by Funnelwick Limb, inspiring talks at Makerspace and performances at Patch and Firstsite. We also teamed up with other creatives to launch a new monthly social called The Fold back in April.

We exhibited at Co-op Congress in July hosted by Co-operatives UK, and Ben was a key speaker!

We hosted a CoTech event at The Minories! We had co-ops from Glasgow, Oxford, Sheffield, Birmingham, Manchester, and London, among others, come together!

We visited workers.coop Autumn assembly in October in Sheffield, where we met people from over 20 other co-ops!

We gave a talk on the co-operative model and our experiences at Creative Coop to students at University of Essex!

We attended excellent management training over at happy recommended by our coworker Claire.

We had a festive Christmas office party in December with our amazing coworkers and guests, with party games included!
....and most importantly we've had the opportunity to work on over 60 projects! We won new clients such as Go-op Train Co-operative, Northampton Borough Council and Westmill Energy We continued working with local and national clients such as Colchester City Council, University of Essex, Farm Carbon Toolkit, ADAS, IRMO, University of the West of England, ECDP, Essex Book Festival, Central Coop, Coops UK and many others to whom we would like to say a special thank you too.
