Business conversations were heated in the cool aircon atmosphere of Networking Essex's meeting at Colchester RFC’s building yesterday.

This is one of the largest networking meetings in North Essex that I frequently attend for free (although you can become a member).

There are no pitches nor speeches, apart from a brief introductory welcome by the founder Aaron Desmond.

Yesterday, there were both familiar and unfamiliar faces ready to discuss opportunities for business, support or collaboration and I had chance to have some good catch ups with some friends in business.

If you want to make a lot of new business contacts in one networking session, Networking Essex is worth attending. It also has regular meetings in Chelmsford and Southend.
