We resawn a batch of 6 year Air dried 8x8 Oak Beams down to 7x7, giving them a clean accurate finish while keeping the natural character of the wood intact.
Alongside the beams, we also cut a run of 7x2 sections to complete the job.
Working with air dried oak helps minimise the tannins you often see leaching from fresh sawn oak, meaning cleaner cuts, better stability,, and a mich nicer finish for the customer. If you need custom size beams, oak machining, or specialist timber preparation for your project, we're always happy to help.
