Another modified man converted

It was a quick re prep, a very quick one at that for our trusty RHD R5 Fiesta Rally2 after a last minute call Friday lunch time to supply Damien toner and Martin McGowan with a car for the Loughgall stages

Competing for the 1st time in one of these cars, a steady run all day with a fastest time along the way seen the new pairing claim 3rd overall against much regular competitors.

It was great to get the opportunity to supply James Williams Rallying with a car to start out his 2023 BRC campaign. A promising start to the event on SS1 seen the crew go fastest but with a spin and then a puncture on the next two stages seen the crew lose any chance of a podium. A solid last 2 stages seen the crew claw back 4th place.

Sometimes, it really depends on the roll of the dice 🎲
Today wasn't our day when we got the puncture, but we got our head down and used this afternoon as a test.

We were able to climb back up to fourth, but a podium was just out of our reach.

I firstly want to say a big thank you to the marshals and officials stood out in the cold today - you are the real legends. I hope we put on a show for you today. A big hats off to the organisers for making the rally happen - a huge volunteer effort that doesn't go unnoticed in my eyes. Thank you 🧡🖤

Some miles covered this weekend with 2 rallys. John MacCrone and Stuart Loudon competing in the East Riding closed road rally today. 13th overall and 2nd 2wd was the end result. Johns first time back in the car from his podium on the 2022 Mull Rally

After a promising start on yesterdays Samsonas Fivemiletown rally Jonny Leonard and Niall burns unfortunately retired our RHD Rally2 Fiesta on stage 4 after puncture forces the crew to slide wide and get stuck in a shuck. Hopefully we will see these guys back on the stages soon
