18 MONTHS CLEAN.

Eighteen months ago, the man who walked through our doors is almost unrecognisable from the man standing here today.

The change in you has been phenomenal.

Recovery hasn’t wrapped you in cotton wool. It’s stripped you back, exposed the things you’d spent years running from, and forced you to face them head-on. Some days you’ve taken it in your stride, other days you’ve fought it kicking and screaming. But the one thing you kept doing was getting back up.

You still wind us up at times. You’re still stubborn. But underneath all that, we’ve watched a man grow in honesty, humility, compassion and courage.

You’ve gone from needing people to carry you, to being someone who now helps carry others. The way you welcome newcomers, encourage the lads, and quietly show up for people says more than words ever could.

Recovery isn’t about becoming perfect. It’s about becoming real. And you’ve become a man who no longer has to hide behind.

Eighteen months clean is a huge achievement, but it’s also proof of what can happen when someone refuses to give up.

We’re proud of you, mate. Keep your feet on the ground, keep doing the next right thing, and never forget where you’ve come from.

A little late posting this one, but this one still deserves celebrating.

Massive congratulations on 5 months clean and sober. ❤️

Five months ago, life looked very different. Addiction had taken far more than it had ever given back. But instead of staying stuck, you made a decision to fight. Since then, you’ve kept getting up, even on the days when it would have been easier to give up.

Recovery isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being honest, staying accountable, taking the uncomfortable advice, and doing the work day after day. That’s exactly what you’ve been doing.

You still drive us mad… just not as often! 😂 But the truth is, it’s been a privilege to watch you grow. We’ve seen glimpses of the man that’s been buried underneath the addiction for so many years, and that’s something worth celebrating.

Keep your feet on the ground. Keep showing up. Keep choosing recovery, even when it’s hard. Everything you’re rebuilding is worth protecting.

We’re proud of you, mate. Five months down, one day at a time, and a lifetime to go. Keep fighting. You’ve got this. ❤️
