This Is Me

Not a lot of people know but I suffer with body dismorphia. I got diagnosed with this at 21 after I went through something traumatic.
Up until recently I had been ok. but in the last couple of months I've suffered even to the point in having panic attacks when I catch myself in the mirror, which is very hard when you're a hairdresser 🤦‍♀️. Posting selfie's people prob wouldn't believe it but I got told it helps , I don't think it makes much difference but I am trying to learn self love again.

With body dismorphia you tend to stress over a particular part mine is my skin. But I'm not comfortable with the way I look and haven't for a long time. But I'm getting there and I'm posting this so the girls that I teach know that we all go through things and sometimes you'd never know what someone is struggling with. I'm so lucky to have great friends and family support around me. This isn't for sympathy , I'm here if anyone needs any support 😀
