It's June 30th, for most that means last day of school. In fact, my eldest just finished her first year of GCSEs!!!

It'll be a lot of young peoples last day at Primary School.

I remember my last day of Primary School as if it happened yesterday. A school which no longer exists, knocked down a long, long time ago.

For those who are moving on at school, changing school or indeed finishing school. Please take these words on board:
"𝑰'𝒎 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒚, 𝑰'𝒎 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒕. 𝑫𝒐 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐 𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒅𝒐 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐."

For those of you who are teachers: "𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍."

I'm in my late 30s and I can promise you now some of my teachers are still remembered very fondly. In fact I've had the pleasure of fixing some of their tech and I smile each time they enter the workshop.

I hope you made your last day one to remember, enjoy your time off over the summer and I hope you move onto bigger and better things.
