We're proud to have completed a second brand-new Whitby Morrison ice cream van for Celato Gelato and Mario Genovese – built to deliver outstanding performance, reliability and a first-class customer experience.

This impressive build is based on the latest Mercedes-Benz Sprinter PRO MWB Chassis Cab and features our premium Mondial Lusso bodywork, packed with industry-leading equipment including:

Remembering Bryan Whitby – 10 Years On

Today marks ten years since we lost Bryan Whitby.

For those of us who knew him, it's hard to believe a decade has passed.

When he started the business in 1962, Bryan brought together his skills in coachbuilding and refrigeration to build vehicles that were made properly, built to last and designed to solve problems. While the world knows us for our Ice Cream Vans, his talent and curiosity led him to create so much more.

The business he built was never just about vehicles. It was about people. It was about family. It was about treating customers fairly, doing the job right and taking pride in your work. Bryan always recognised every individual as a person, never a number.

Since Bryan's passing, Stuart, Julie, Ed and Kris have continued to build on everything he started. From developing our first electric vehicles and ePower technology to investing in our factory and facilities, every step forward has been built on the foundations Bryan laid all those years ago.

He would have been incredibly proud of what Whitby Morrison has become, but even more proud of the people who made it happen. Our family, our dedicated team, and the many friends and customers who have supported us have all played a part in continuing his legacy.

Those lucky enough to have known and worked alongside Bryan miss him every day. We miss the conversations over a cup of tea, his quiet wisdom, his willingness to help anyone, and the knowledge that only comes from a lifetime of experience.
Bryan passed away in 2016 after a short illness. Today, Barbara, now 93, remains at the heart of our family, and together we continue to honour everything Bryan stood for.

As we remember him today, we simply want to say thank you.
Thank you for the foundation you laid. Thank you for the values you instilled. Thank you for the example you set.
