Driving a Vehicle that’s not cooling properly or overheating can be a engine killer. So Here’s few common signs & reasons your car is not cooling properly or overheating.

- Temperature Gauge
Is your Temperature Gauge Gone up past halfway? Or a symbol on the dash appeared? This is the first sign your car will give your that there is a problem and it’s time to call for assistance.

- Sluggish Performance
This is a massive indication to pull over at the nearest safe place, turn the engine off and call for assistance. (If on the hard shoulder please exit on the passenger side of the vehicle and get to a safe place)

Your vehicle May have gone into Limp mode, or worse. You will most likely require a Recovery. If you’ve got to this point of reading and require help our number is listed on our website.

- Hoses & Rubber Seals
Rubber Degrades Overtime, especially in the harsh environment of the commonly oily & dirty engine bay. Unfortunately problems like oil leaks regardless how big or small can make this problem so much larger.

- Blown Head gasket
When the head gasket fails coolant is able to get into the combustion chamber. Signs Head Gasket has failed is white smoke from exhaust, Custard colour gunk on the oil cap and inside the rocker cover, reduced performance, overheating, and an unexplained loss of coolant.

- Thermostat
If the thermostat may have failed. The thermostat regulates the flow of coolant going through the system. When these fail then tend to either seize up restricting flow or allowing to much flow.

- Water pump
When the pump fails it’s usually because of age/lack of proper maintenance.

⚠️ Warning ⚠️
Never open your Coolant Cap when Hot!
