🕹 GAME OF THE WEEK - Terminator 2 on Nintendo Gameboy from 1991 🕹
Developed by Bits studios and published by LJN in 1991, Terminator 2: Judgment Day brought the blockbuster movie experience to Nintendo's handheld system. Players take control of the T-800, battling through action packed levels inspired by scenes from the film whilst trying to stop Skynet's rise.
Despite the Game Boy's limitations, the game delivered impressive graphics, challenging gameplay and a surprisingly cinematic feel for a handheld title of its era. Like many movie tie in games of the early 1990s, it offered fans another way to experience one of science fiction's most iconic stories on the go.
Have you played this Game Boy adaptation? How far did you get before the machines won?
