Derby Mountain Rescue Team

CALLOUT: Saturday 4th July, Team members assisted a stranded walker after she became stuck on steep ground and was unable to continue safely. She was escorted back to the road and the team were stood down.

Today, we have been invited to attend the annual Garden Party at St Saviours Church, Branston, Burton-on-Trent.
Virgil and Ben from the supporters group will be in attendance and promoting the excellent work that is carried out by our team.

So, if you are not warming up prior to your attendance at the Skyline Event on Sunday, you would be most welcome to call by and say hi.

GOOD LUCK to Team Member Antoinette (Toni) as she takes part in The Rat Race: Bamburgh Castle to Edinburgh Castle this weekend. She'll have 48 hours to complete the 100 mile course. You can read about her attempt and support her as she raises money for the team here:

CALLOUT: Tuesday 30th June. Team members rescued a walker after he tumbled a considerable distance on the path below Reynard's Cave before transferring him to East Midlands Ambulance Service for onward care.
