Covið and GOV basically shut The Dev down.

Short term tenants opened it short term and it was sad to see it close again.

We wish the new owners well, freehold makes a massive difference on price and hopefully it's a pub that can now thrive, free of tie.

Won't be putting up the outside Christmas decs this year I'm afraid, not really got the heart for it 😔

Been a great 1st day after all the uncertainty, with a fab atmosphere. Brilliant to see everyone again. Thankyou to everyone for being patient with new arrangements, and for being sensible.

Was sorry to hear of trouble elsewhere, and gutted for the licensees affected, glad that none has been reported locally.

I'm sure I've forgotten stuff, and no doubt will make mistakes along the way, this is new to all of us, and quite weird.

Totally understand why some wont come out, and absolutely get why others want to, we have all been non social a long while.

Scary for me as I'm judged, personally as well as in business. I hope the measures in place are enough. Talk to me if you disagree. I'm human, I worry about my family also.
