** For parents **

With the Amber weather warning this week a gentle reminder to please ensure your child has suncream on before arriving for their session. Please bring a hat for outside play (we will be limiting time outside during peak hours and also have some hats available if needed)
We will have lots of water play out so spare clothes would be appreciated.

*For parents of children who attend on a weds or thurs*

You should have received an email outlining our latest update regarding the current weather warning.
Following a thorough risk assessment and despite our best efforts to keep the Centre as cool as possible we have had to take the decision to close on weds and Thurs during the red health alert.

This decision was not taken lightly and I want to thank parents for their understanding with this. Also thank you to those parents who had already informed us that they were keeping their little one at home.

We are planning to return on Friday as usual.

Just wanted to give an update to parents during this current heatwave we are experiencing.

The safety and wellbeing of all our children and staff is and will always be our paramount priority.

We are taking extra precautions during this unusual weather to ensure children remain safe such as plenty of drinks breaks, water/ice activities, reducing time spent outside, fans, reducing chances of hot air from outside coming into building and monitoring of temperatures inside.

Some parents may choose to keep their child home during this heatwave for a number of reasons, all we ask is that you let us know as soon as possible so we can monitor staffing etc.

We currently plan to remain open this week for all sessions however should this change we will inform parents as soon as possible. We will continue to monitor the situation and want to thank our parents for their patience with this.
