Obviously we do our bit, but there's so much more going on here throughout the year: arts and food festivals, fab pubs with live music, great cafés and restaurants and its very own independent theatre. Then there's the canal and ancient landscape to explore for miles around... whenever you turn up you know there will be something to enjoy!

Browse our independent shops or take a ghostly town tour - or perhaps a
Wadworth Brewery tour if you prefer other type of spirits... well, beers!

The other option is to lounge around with a cool drink under the trees on The Green, outside a town centre café, in Hillworth Park or in Jubilee Woods next to our landmark flight of 29 locks on the Kennet & Avon Canal.

You can choose to be as chilled as you like - or if you're feeling active and keen for a bit of a trek, take hike onto the downs nearby and view our gorgeous world from the heights overlooking this magnificent Wiltshire landscape.
