We at Devizes Opendoors would like to say a massive heartfelt "Thank you" to Stephen White for providing the items that were asked to be donated to enable a male guest to gain employment and regain his self-confidence.

We’re were delighted to be a recipient of the many fundraising efforts by the Lions, thank you for considering our our charity, and for our invite last night which one of our staff were able to attend.

Last night was our annual Presentation Evening, where Devizes Lions had the privilege of awarding grants and donations totalling more than £9,000 to local charities, community groups and good causes.

Every pound donated has been made possible through the incredible support of the local community at events such as Lions on the Green, our Santa Float collections, car boot sales and other fundraising activities throughout the year.

As a not-for-profit organisation, all money raised goes back into supporting local people and projects. Seeing the difference these funds will make across our community is a reminder of why these events matter so much.

Thank you to everyone who attends our events, makes a donation, volunteers their time, or supports us in any way. Your generosity helps us continue supporting worthwhile causes across Devizes and the surrounding area.

A special thank you to the Mayor of Devizes, Vanessa Tanner, for joining us and helping to present the awards.

Together, we are making a real difference in our community.
