In the 7th part of this series, Will & Jemima talk about how important it was for the new washroom facilities to be easy to maintain, especially during the busy campsite season.

Will explains how the wall-hung toilets and concealed pipework have made cleaning much simpler day to day: “it’s a hose down, disinfect and done.” With everything designed to be practical and hard wearing, keeping the facilities clean is now far quicker and easier.

Jemima also talks about how things used to be before the refurbishment, constantly saying things like “this time next year we’ll paint the walls” or “we’ll have to sort that out next season.” Now, instead of yearly replacements, they’ve got facilities that feel modern, fresh and built to last.
