The story of Communi-Tea Cafe

Communi-Tea Café will provide a much needed community based retail food operation that specifically identifies and prides its work force as predominantly individuals with SEND or Mental Health. Currently in the Doncaster area there are numerous Cafes non of which offer such opportunities to SEND and sufferers of Mental health across the whole of Doncaster and that is not just specific to their own service users. Not only is it projected that the business will generate new jobs and training opportunities, the partnership responsible for creating Communi-Tea Café will generate additional revenue specifically dedicated to assisting the development of the local community, for the local community and additional employment for young people and adults with SEND and Mental Health.

This venture is between St Leger Homes and Cambeth Community Project C.I.C that prides itself on delivering opportunities to Doncaster most Vulnerable young people and adults.

Our staff all of whom have additional needs will progress into paid/voluntary employment when the time and situation is right for that individual.
