🏗️ It’s been a busy couple of months for our team, with plenty of projects on the go – from extensions to concrete floor repairs!

Here’s a recent job we completed in Intake, Doncaster. The sub-base and screed in the living room and hallway had cracked and lifted due to the presence of shale beneath the floor. Shale expands and contracts over time, which can cause concrete floors to crack, move, and become uneven.

Our team excavated and removed all the affected shale, replaced it with compacted limestone, and re-concreted the area, leaving it ready for the customer to install LVT flooring throughout the property.

💡 Did you know? LVT and laminate flooring require a perfectly level and stable subfloor to achieve the best finish and prevent future issues.
