Is your laptop running warmer than it used to? does the fan run constantly? if the answer is yes to the above the cooling mechanism within the machine has started to fail, if your machine still powers up get it looked at ASAP, if left the end result will be the motherboard over heating with a loss of display, prevention is better than cure with this one, I have had some success reviving laptops that have lost their display after over heating but have had a much higher success rate with curing over heating before the display is lost, the machine in the pictures are a before and after, in the first picture the power light and wireless light illuminate but no display, after stripping the machine down, reflowing the solder on the motherboard, and overhauling the cooling mechanism the machine powered up and ran at the correct temperature
