Landy in for MOT failure, on N/S rear outrigger, clean rotten and chassis rail inside and out required rust removal, dropped the exhaust silencer for access. The body tub aluminium mounting point was also corroded badly, pop riveting required.

Stripping out the transfer box and gearbox from a Defender 200 Tdi, usual problem of main shaft splines and transfer gear splines stripping with wear

Replacement transfer box looks good and has the updated transfer gear with oil hole to keep the splines oiled
Freeing up the brakes after being stood for over 8 years
Time to get stuck into this one
