McPhillips (née McCartan)
The family of the late Mary McPhillips wish to extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude to all our relatives, friends, and neighbours following the recent loss of our beloved Wife, Mum and sister. The overwhelming kindness shown to us has meant more than words can fully express.
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the wake and Funeral Mass, sent Mass or sympathy cards, offered prayers, and generously donated to the Renal Unit in lieu of flowers.
We are forever grateful for the exceptional care, support, and love provided by the staff of Wards 6C, 5D, and the Renal Unit. Their dedication brought great comfort to Mary and to us as a family.
We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Lisbane Medical Centre, as well as the team at Ballygowan Pharmacy, for their years of kind attentiveness, dedicated care, and constant support.
Sincere thanks to Fr. Henry McCann and Sister Anne, Ulster Hospital, Dundonald for their comfort, prayers, and spiritual attendance to Mary while she was in hospital.
Our deep gratitude also goes to Fr. Anthony McHugh for his spiritual support over the last 30 years and for celebrating such a beautiful Requiem Mass. We also thank Saffyre for the lovely music and singing which added so much to the Mass.
Finally, our thanks to Ciaran, Damian, Robert, and all the staff at Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors for the professional, respectful, and caring manner in which they conducted the funeral arrangements.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Mary’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 11th July 2026 at 6.30pm in Mary, Mother of the Church, Saintfield.
