Today was a very busy day spent with the folks at the Dundee Dramatic Society where we did a clear-out of the theatre and unloaded stuff onto the skip. It was very exhausting, but it was all worth it when we went on our pizza break. 😊🍕

Then I headed back to the theatre again to partake in FOH duties for a burlesque show that Tease and Tone were hosting at the theatre.

Today, I explored the Botanical Gardens in Dundee to see if it would be any suitable for hosting any site-specific theatre projects. This is in response to Theatre Green’s response to my previous video when I encouraged you all to go and give it a follow on Instagram.

I selected the Botanic Gardens because Theatre Green is very focused on the goal to tell stories about climate change and other environment-related topics. So I figured a garden setting would seem appropriate and my findings tell me that this is an excellent place to do site-specific theatre. 💚🎭🌳

Theatre Green is an up and coming theatre company that has been slowly but surely flourishing in Dundee since about a week or so ago.

I am interested in doing work with Theatre Green once my ongoing HND course is finished because its goals correspond to many of my moral viewpoints and I believe it’s important to envision and create stories that raises awareness of certain issues, particularly in regards to social justice.
