Breed fulfilment. 🐾

So many behavioural problems come from dogs never being given an outlet for what they were bred to do.

A Collie that never gets to herd.
A Spaniel that never gets to use its nose.
A Labrador that never gets to retrieve.
A Terrier that never gets to chase or dig.
And a Belgian Malinois that never gets to work.

This is why so many Malinois end up being labelled "crazy" or "too much." They're not. They're incredibly driven working dogs. Without a job to do, they'll find one themselves—and it's usually one you won't enjoy.

Exercise alone isn't enough. You can't walk breed fulfilment into a dog. They need mental stimulation, structure, purpose, and an outlet for the behaviours they were bred for.

Work with the breed in front of you, not the dog you wish you had. That's when you start to see real change. 🐾

I'm not interested in doing it for her—I want her to work it out for herself.

When you give a dog the chance to think instead of constantly guiding or luring them, they use their brain a whole lot more. They learn to problem-solve, understand what you're asking, and become far more reliable in the long run.

The goal isn't just getting the behaviour... it's creating a dog that can think. 💚
