Hi everyone! I hope you’re all hale and hearty? I’ve not posted anything on here for such a long time. I had major spinal surgery back in February from which I’m still on the mend, and it gets to a certain time of the year when my crochet hook is replaced with needle and thread, when I take on other creative forms: I make my own dyes from flower petals, leaves, roots, bark and items from my kitchen cupboards, such as turmeric or fruit tea bags, onion skins, red cabbage to name but a few! I dye tote bags, 100% cotton tshirt and pure silk scarves. I’ve been making polymer clay beads which I’ve used in making macrame plant hangers too. I’ve used the same technique that I used to make my horse’s hay nets from discarded baler twine! If I get the time, I’ll post on here to let you see what I’ve been getting up to!

Prototype finger puppets of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Incredibly fiddly due to their diminutive size so not certain I’ll replicate it. Mother Bear was re-made three or four times!
