I am going away this week so the cafe will be opening a bit later this week.. 8.30 instead of 7.30... apologies for that. Back to normal the week after!

Elly and Fiona have kindly stepped in to cover... The same lovely food cakes and of course coffee will be ready and waiting for you!

Happy Easter!

We have the lovely and talented Chris Marshall exhibiting for the next few weeks here at Pericles Cafe.. beautiful paintings mostly of our local area.

We have been preparing the usual tasty offerings and Fiona went into overdrive this week so we have the full range of her fantastic delicious cakes.

Ross continues to make the most delicious sausage rolls in Sussex (true story ... A grown man cried with happiness while eating one... He said he had never tasted anything so good!)

We have vegan options

Loads of gluten free options

And plenty of meat options too!

Added to that all of the pennies you spend here goes towards our work at www.pericles.org.uk!

Exciting Planty Plans!

Our students and I are going to be developing our outside seating area and as part of that growing some herbs and salad for use in the cafe and plants for decoration... Last year this amazing community provided us with hanging baskets and our own woodwork shop has been hard at work building planters from reclaimed wood.

Time to start filling them!

Does anyone have.....
* any cuttings for hanging plants and or flowers that would go in the hanging baskets inside and out
* Ideas, knowledge or skill to share in this area
* Pots of coloured wood stain
* Herbs... I will be growing some from seed but maybe you have a Herby bush that needs taming?

All would be in exchange for the appropriate amount of lovely coffee!
