Friday Reflections...

This week has been about conversations.

The small, unexpected kind that happens on street corners with neighbours, friends and passers-by.

The kind that begin without planning and end with a smile, a shared moment, a reminder that we're in this together.

The light-hearted conversations around the community lunch table. Laughter between bites, stories told and retold. The ordinary made meaningful simply because it's shared.

And then there's the quiet ones.

Side-by-side conversations, where words come easier when we're moving. The type of conversation that unfolds, uncovering deeper threads and a sense of getting to know someone over time: piece by piece, story by story.

Because at the heart of it all, we need to talk. To tell stories, to listen and be heard.

It's ancient, it's human, it's who we are.
