MAGDALENE:CC SCIO is working with the E.P.L.C.C.C (Edinburgh Parent Led Child Care Consortium) to bring you a new after school child care provision, ‘The Daily Project’ based in the Magdalene Community Centre. We aim to provide a safe environment that the children attending can thrive in with a wide variety of fun activities, games and sports.
Our goal is to give the children that attend the freedom to choose what they want to do whilst nurturing and developing the responsibilities of looking after themselves, being kind to others, treating staff and each other with respect and caring for the materials/equipment available to them.
We believe it is important for children to be exposed to different hobbies, where it be sports, technology, board games, group games and outdoor activities so they can find out what their true interests are and possibly take further interest in.
Our staff team aim to give the attending children the best experience they can during our after-school club and holiday camps, by being friendly and approachable, an ear to listen to and setting up unique and interesting activities. We want our children who attend to feel heard, safe and comfortable with expressing themselves in our setting.
