We believe that everyone who trains with us has the potential to grow beyond imagination - but only if the right conditions are in place.

So we work hard to create an environment where students feel genuinely secure and supported, appropriately stretched and stimulated, and valued as a whole person, not just as a student.

Groups are kept small, with a maximum of 18 students, because relationship and high levels of support matter to us. Training is experiential and dynamic because we believe that's how real learning happens. And we pay close attention to support with things that can get in the way of learning - personal history, learning styles, power and privilege.

This is what we mean when we say Physis Scotland is a home for TA training in Scotland. Not just a place where it happens.

Most practitioners who are moving into supervision bring with them a strong sense of how they work with clients.

A focus of our Advanced Diploma in Counselling Supervision is on developing your identity as a supervisor as well - built through reflective practice, theoretical exploration and the experience of supervising itself. You'll be supported by Nicky Worrall TSTA(P) and the cohort around you. Because the kind of supervisor you become matters - to you, your supervisees and to their clients.
