A little later than planned but what a performance from Niall Kelly tonight. He secured a 40–35 unanimous decision against a very tough and experienced opponent.
Niall stuck to the game plan from the first bell, controlling the action with sharp, snapping jabs. In the second round he really turned up the pressure, dropping his opponent with a brilliant uppercut. He kept that momentum going in the third, landing heavy shots on the inside, though credit to his opponent for somehow staying in the fight. The fourth round followed the same pattern, with Niall continuing to score, learn, and dominate.
This was Niall’s third professional bout, and as a team we’re incredibly proud, not just of the win, but of his progression, discipline, and willingness to learn throughout camp. Tonight he earned a big victory over a seasoned road warrior in Eliecer Quezada, who deserves full respect for his toughness and commitment to the sport.
