What can we learn about gravitational waves from a class of P6 learners in Glasgow?
A whole lot, as it turns out!
In collaboration with the Institute of Physics at University of Glasgow, our Gravitational Waves programme has just wrapped up 10 wonderful sessions with a P6 class from Blackfriars Primary School.
Throughout the programme, the young people explored space science through creativity and play by conducting experiments, creating their own ceilidh dance about gravitational waves and hosting a stall at their community fair.
Now, they are ready to share what they have learnt with you! Keep an eye out for a video and lesson plan coming soon, where the young people dive into the science of gravitational waves and share their ceilidh dance!
Alongside these resources, we'll also be releasing a podcast in which the young people reflect on their experience of the programme and interview gravitational wave researchers Andrew Spencer and Christopher Berry.

🎶 June Resource of the Month...make your own kazoo!
Today is Make Music Day UK, so what better time to explore the science of sound?
This month's Resource of the Month is a fun and easy activity that shows how vibrations create sound. Using everyday household items, you can make your own kazoo and learn a little science while making some noise!
Watch our Director Lewis show you how in the video below.
