Many UK insurance companies require external door locks to meet British Standard BS3621. If your locks don’t meet the correct standard, it could affect an insurance claim after a break-in.

The easiest way to check?
Look for the BSI Kitemark and BS3621 stamped on the faceplate of the lock. 🔍
