Calling all young scientists who are passionate about digital technology and sustainability to show their potential and become one of the Digital GreenTalents of 2026!
The German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space invites highly motivated and talented young scientists to apply for the Award "Digital GreenTalents – High Potentials in Sustainable Development"!

What you get:
✅ Fully funded research stay in Germany in 2027 (for up to three months)
✅ SpringSchool in 2027 & mentoring programme
✅ Become part of the Global Digital GreenTalents network

Application criteria:
➡️ Open to PhD students (or recent graduates) and students in the final year of a Master's degree
➡️ Strong focus on research topics combining digital technology and sustainability
➡️ Applicants should not be older than 30 years

Scotland can be proud of its vibrant heritage and culture! At the Edinburgh Tartan Parade, we joined thousands in a spectacular celebration of Scotland's living heritage, featuring pipe bands, dancers, clans, and, of course, tartans!

The joyful atmosphere of the parade provided Consul General Christiane Hullmann with a fantastic opportunity to experience Scottish culture first-hand and wear our new Consulate General’s German tartan!

It was a wonderful celebration and we look forward to returning next year!
