Some pieces tell a story not just in the art, but on the surface itself. This beautiful vintage silk painting has had a hard life. The original framer, decades ago, stapled it directly to chipboard, causing damage that's impossible to reverse.

While full conservation wasn't an option for this piece, its sentimental value is immense. Our job was to embrace its history – the acid foxing and other damage – and protect it from any further harm.

We carefully framed it with a Conservation quality mount and a classic Larson Juhl Patina frame, giving it a stable and beautiful new home where it can be cherished safely.

We had the pleasure of framing another stunning limited edition print by the talented Maria Guimaraes.
To complement the vibrant, joyful energy of the artwork, we chose a contemporary, cube-shaped gold foil frame from the Larson Juhl Andover range. Its clean lines and warm, luminous finish are the perfect match for the sunset tones in the piece, creating a modern yet elegant look.

We're so pleased with how this beautiful print is now ready to shine on a new wall!
