A sea of blooms in the heart of Fife 🌸✨

Few fields are as bonnie as those at Jack Blooms, where fourth-generation farmer Alex Nelson grows rows of fabulously flamboyant peonies.

While their extravagant blooms might seem more at home in warmer climates, these beautiful flowers thrive in Scotland’s cool conditions.

Alex’s journey into flower farming began during Covid, learning to grow dahlias alongside her grandad.

Since 2022, her fields have been bursting with stunning peonies with roots stretching back centuries to Asia.

Discover how Alex transformed a passion for flowers into a flourishing business, and why peonies are thriving in Scotland, in our latest issue.
