R&D Community Brand Identity Project

Mood-boarding our tiny bathroom reno project - while the building work continues, I’ll share some insight into the finishes and items we’ve sourced. My wife and I approach the interior design of our home the same way we did with our wedding: classic, minimal, and generally avoiding trends. We have touched upon several obvious ones in this design, but overall we select styles which are likely to stand the test of time. Some of our favourite things right now that we both absolutely love are not part of our design scheme because we know they won’t last long. When investing big sums of money in construction, property, (and memories like weddings) picking things with longevity are the key to the best outcome. You can easily sink thousands into a design which will be a big hit today, but quickly becomes dated in a few years time. When re-designing your home, ask yourself what will raise the value of your property and hold that value over time? It’s a great way to guide your choices and refine your ideas.
