This picture doesn't look all that impressive does it?

It's the factory amplifier in a 2014 BMW 4 series convertible.

Customer took it to the BMW main dealer who diagnosed a failed amplifier due to water damage. The amplifier had already been replaced once under warranty for the same issue!

The customer didn't fancy paying £2k for a new amplifier, so they called us in.

We repaired the amplifier and reinstalled it.

But the weirdest thing happened - there was still no sound!

We spent a bit of time checking over the wiring after seeing that the amplifier wasn't getting any power.

Turns out that the BMW dealership had took the main amplifier fuse out, then put it back in the wrong slot!

Another install completed today, this time on a 2015 Mercedes A-Class W176.

This car had the basic Audio20 system without navigation and with a tiny 5.8 inch screen.

It didn't have an aux port either, so we coded this in and ensured it was working before going ahead with the installation.

This is 10.25" Android 10 system with an 8 core processor, 4gb RAM and 64gb storage. It's also got built in wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto!
