Every tag helps the researchers learn more about shark movements, behaviour, and conservation — and that’s pretty jawsome if you ask me.

And there are TWO types of tags you can help fund:

Acoustic Tags – basically the shark version of checking in on Facebook. These clever little tags ping receivers placed around the ocean so researchers can track where the sharks hang out, travel, and who they’re spending time with. (Probably avoiding humans and judging fish.)

Satellite Tags – the VIP trackers. These send information via satellite when the shark comes near the surface, helping researchers understand long-distance migrations and where sharks travel across entire oceans. Tiny space technology… on a shark. Which is objectively cool.

So even if sparkly jewellery isn’t your thing, you can still help real sharks, real science, and real conservation work.
